Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training - enrolling now!

Like Christmas, the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training comes but once a year! And we are currently enrolling for a January start on Zoom: are you in?
More students study the level 3 than the level 4. Why? Well, level 3 is quicker, cheaper and it gives all of the necessary knowledge to get cracking as a teacher in further education. But at level 4, you're really developing your skills as a teacher. It's a commitment to yourself and your career.

Studying on Zoom
Studying on Zoom gives you all the benefits of classroom learning but from your own home... or wherever you have a nice, strong internet connection!
One students from this year's cohort (the first we've run on Zoom) said:
"I wasn't sure about studying on Zoom at first: I've always studied in a classroom before. But I've loved it. There's no travel, so as soon as I finish the session I still have some of my day left. I'd definitely study this way again."
Plus, wherever you are in the country, you can take part.
What am I committing to?
There are ten Zoom sessions: they'll run from 09.30 - 15.30
You'll book each session in agreement with your group: most of our students work full time and have busy lives. We find that agreeing each session three weeks to a month in advance (rather than setting dates for the year) means that more people attend and find it easier to manage their commitments.
You'll have coursework to complete: there are 8 assessments, a project, 6 pieces of product evidence (things you're probably using every day when you teach), 3 observations and 3 reflections.
There are three observations so you'll need to have access to some teaching hours throughout the course.
30 hours of teaching: you'll need to keep a record of 30 hours of teaching throughout the course. This can be groups, one to ones, on Zoom or something different. If you're not sure whether you can get enough teaching, talk to us.

How much will it cost?
£900
You can pay up front, or you can pay £100 deposit then £100 every month on or before the 1st of every month via standing order.
When is the first session?
In January 2022.
When you book your place, we'll ask you for your preferred dates. Once we have the group confirmed, we'll select a day that works for everyone.
