CAVA has replaced two previous assessing qualifications: the A1 and A2. This is the qualification you need if you want to become an educational assessor.
The course is perfect if you've already begun or are looking to begin a career in assessing. You’ll gain an understanding of the principles and practice of assessment, learn how to effectively assess learners’ occupational competence and make sound assessment decisions. We will ensure you are fully prepared for your role as an assessor.
You'll need at least TWO of your own learners to work with in order to complete the Assessing element of this qualification. These learners must be working towards their own accredited qualification (in a subject you are able to assess).
You have 9 months to complete.
